On October 24th, 2025 two events were organized by Rotary Club of Jorhat: 1. World Polio Day was celebrated on 24th October at DCB Girls College where Dr Rupanjali Phukan addressed the 95 NCC girl cadets of DCB Girls College. She spoke of their responsibility as future mothers and explained the importance of prevention of Polio. 2. Rtn Kamal Jain who completed 40 years of sincere service in Rotary was felicitated with a beautiful memento, a phulam gamocha and a gift to Anne Sangeeta.
