An application, addressed to the President, was received from Interact Club Carmel School requesting for funds to reconstruct a shelter for street dogs, for which they have collaborated with Pragati Animal Welfare Foundation at Garmur, Jorhat. Since no estimate was given, all Members present in the last meeting contributed an amount of Rupees 6000/- to rebuild the animal shelter.
